HOT is illuminate Gym's own brand of personal training which was developed in Denver, Colorado. Its development came from a group of personal trainers who found that working with weights at a quicker pace without sacrificing form was much more beneficial than traditional resistance training.
In other words, High Oxygen Training is an approach that changes weight lifting into a more aerobic exercise rather than the traditional anaerobic way of lifting weights. In years past, personal trainers have worked in time increments of 2-1 (rest to exercise). At illuminate Gym our trainers attempt to do just the opposite forcing you to work out double the time you rest. Hence the phrase HOT.
